Transcript It's been a while I've made a long form video, but I'm back now and I want to share some exciting scholarships that I have actually found. One of which was through my audience who reached out to me. So, you know who you are. Thank you very much.

So, let's talk about scholarships. If you're someone who wants to study in Switzerland or you want to do your research here, I'm going to share with you some scholarships that can actually pay for your living expenses. This video will be divided into three different segments which are the short research studies, the government funded research, so PhDs and the university excellence scholarships by big universities such as ETH or EPFL. The first program that I want to talk about is Think Swiss.

Think Swiss is a research scholarship and they have one for Asia Pacific and they have one for North America. It really depends on where you're coming from. So you can apply through the official websites which I will link down in the description below. Who exactly is the program for?

It's for bachelor or master students who want a short research stay here in Switzerland. So you'll be coming here for a couple of months. So this is a very short stay research program. This program funds your living expenses often at a daily rate.

If I'm not mistaken, I have found that it's actually 60 Franks per day and it's usually only 2 to 3 months. So it's not a very long research program. The key application dates are actually the 1st of October 2025, which has already started, and the deadline is 31st January 2026. But if you're someone who's looking to apply for 2027, the dates usually follow a similar pattern.

So I would recommend you to apply in October this year for the 2027 version. The core requirements for this particular program are a bit tricky because you actually need to find a Swiss supervisor who can give you an invitation letter. Also, postocs are not actually eligible for this program. It's only bachelors and master students.

And of course, you need all of your CV, your motivation letter, and again, you need an invitation from a Swiss partner from a Swiss university. If you're actually looking to do a research fellowship only in summer, only for a short period of time, there is also the student summer research fellowship by ETH, Department of Computer Science. Now, this is for undergrad and grad students worldwide. This is not only for students who are from ETH and this only lasts 2 months and this is specifically in computer science.

What's covered by this is usually the travel and the living expenses. However, it depends on the actual program and it varies by year. So, you'll have to check the official website for the details. The application program, there are actually two application deadlines.

The first one has already passed. It was from November 1st to December. And the next application date would be from July 1st until the August 28th, 2026. This program is open to all nationalities, but the important part is that you have to be already enrolled in a computer science field.

The next program is Swiss government excellence. I have talked about this scholarship program in my previous videos but let's cover it again.
